Continuing Education
Between late 2019 and mid 2020, I completed the University of Washington Continuing Education Certification for Project Management. In the first two quarters, we learned about the basics and fundamentals of what it takes to organize a project. The third quarter we divided into small groups and chose a project to “complete.” With the encouragement and feedback from my small team, I created this powerpoint presentation for our project (shown above). They really let me run with full creative freedom, and the end result is a cohesive, modern presentation that isn’t bogged down with 12pt font paragraphs or lengthy descriptions. Below you can see the icons I designed for the powerpoint as well as the project dashboard which was especially challenging to create. Designing infographics and presentations was really the highlight of this program for me, but I loved learning about the interpersonal dynamics of project teams and how the project manager can help remove barriers and obstacles for the project team.
