Year of the Pig
Wing Luke Museum’s 2019 Year of the Pig Design Contest Winner

It was a huge honor when my design was chosen for the Wing’s design competition in 2018 for the following year. I created the design in Illustrator and included hydrangeas adorning the pigs as they are considered to be lucky for people born in the year of the pig. An earlier iteration can be seen to the right. Myself and the Director of Museum Services, Rayann Matsui, revised it to incorporate more Chinese motifs (the lanterns) and colors (primarily red).
